• TMS BUSINESS ANALYST


This is a full-time position in our TMS department that participates in the implementation of web-based TMS applications as a business analyst. The position involves formulating/designing system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and modify web-based TMS applications. Also responsible for applying expertise to improving business processes and supporting critical business strategies, while seeking opportunities to educate customers in the strategic use of technology.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics, and at least a minimum of four (4) years of related experience and/or training with transportation management systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Knowledge
- Industry knowledge transportation and carrier contracts
- Prior experience with carrier (LTL, Truckload, Parcel, etc.), data management and reporting
- Strong analytical skills utilizing multiple variables to make consistent decisions
- Independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose and follow-through to completeness
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills required
- Experienced in Microsoft Office products, intermediate to expert level Excel or other database reporting
- Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines
